My development career began in Springfield, Illinois, where I built a solid foundation in programming fundamentals and practical engineering discipline. While that environment taught me valuable, rigorous habits, I found the local tech ecosystem limited for the scale of work I wanted to pursue, particularly in distributed systems and high-availability architecture.
To push my work to the next level I relocated to Charleston, SC, where I now tackle larger engineering challenges. I've advanced into a technical leadership role at NCI, where I design and architect complex solutions. I also have a practical connection to the cloud. I live just a handful the Google Cloud data center in Moncks Corner, SC where Google Cloud us-east1, which hosts this site and gives me a tangible link to the infrastructure I manage.
Server design, API construction, and operational practices that keep services secure and highly available.
Bridging backend services with user-facing interfaces, focusing on reliable data flows, performance, and usable UI/UX.
Schema design, query optimization, and handling large datasets for robust and maintainable data platforms.
Designing scalable infrastructure, replication, and fault-tolerance strategies for resilient distributed systems.
Open to discussing new projects and opportunities.
